      Dear Parents,

                Well, the summer is certainly flying by.  I hope all of you have had some wonderful and relaxing experiences! I can't wait to hear about them when we return in September. I just wanted to notify you of some changes to the school supply list.  I am a big believer in recycling, especially pencils and glue sticks.  If you have not already purchased these items, I have plenty on hand for the class to use.  Everyone will start the year with brand new pencils, but I will be recycling leftover ones from last year into the mix.  Don't worry, they have all been cleaned! This worked extremely well last year and as a parent, myself, I am always looking for ways to save money.  I realize some of you will receive this message too late, so you can either keep the items at home, or bring them into school.
